COMPRESSOR
OPERATOR member of ASSET
Supplementary qualification (No
membership fee). A person having undergone formal training in the
operation and management of compressed air systems, compressors and
storage banks.

Complete the Compressor Operators Course
or
Complete the Dive Industry Technicians Course
or
Complete another suitable Compressor Operation and Management
Course, have documented proof of experience and attend a
Compressor Skills Assessment and ASSET Standards Orientation
Course

An ASSET Compressor Operator may undertake the preparation and
dispensing of Compressed Air without supervision |
Note : This is the minimum grade for the responsible person in an
IDEST Approved Station Dispensing High Pressure compressed air in
accordance with ASSET CP4 (Code of Practice under development) |
