A person who has no formal
Technician training but have either an interest in the maintenance and
repair of diving equipment or have recently entered the industry and are
under training.

May only be involved in the
maintenance and repair of diving equipment under the direct
supervision of an Advanced Technician or higher |
Note : Trainees in an IDEST approved facility must hold at least the
Asset Associate membership.
